报告简介:Optimal staffing problems for dynamic queueing systems have been studied extensively. A common method for such problems is stationary analysis. However, only a “fixable” staffing decision can be made by using this method. At the same time, in some practical situations, a “flexible” staffing decision is more appropriate and can improve the quality of service efficiently. Motivated by this, in this talk, we propose a stochastic-stage stationary approximation to approximate such a dynamic system. Roughly speaking, firstly the control chart is applied to detect change points of the arrival rate . Secondly, based on these change points, the time interval is stochastically divided into some small subintervals, and then at each epoch, the corresponding stationary queueing system is used to approximate the dynamic queueing system. Finally the corresponding optimal staffing decision is made. The simulation and case study for call centers show that our method has excellent monitoring effect and can effectively improve the quality of service.
报告人简介:戴洪帅,山东财经大学统计与数学学院教授。2010年博士毕业于中南大学,2014年加拿大卡尔顿大学博士后。曾经在广西大学、澳门大学、密西根州立大学等高校工作和学习。目前主要从事排队网络的优化与统计推断的研究,已在《Bernoulli》,《Science China Mathematics》,《Queueing systems》,《Journal of Theoretical Probability》等期刊发表SCI收录论文30余篇。主持完成国家自然科学基金1项目,省自然科学基金3项。
